Tarn
Flatt cottage has a cliff-top location on St Bees Head Heritage
Coast. Panoramic views of the Solway and the Scottish coastline.

Tarn Flatt is a working farm which also includes St Bees lighthouse,
RSPB bird reserve on the 100 metre cliffs and access to Fleswick
Bay a secluded single cove. There is also climbing, and boulders
at the base of the cliff are superb. The area is a Site of Special
Scientific Interest. St Bees with its sandy beach is 3 miles away
or can be easily reached along the coastal path, which is part of
the famous Coast to Coast walk.

Other places of interest close by are Muncaster castle, Ravenglass
and Eskdale miniature railway, The Lakes of Ennerdale, Loweswater,
Crummock, Buttermere and the valleys of Eskdale and Wasdale are
waiting to be explored including the romanfort of Hardnott and the
bathhouse at Ravenglass.
